Musical Love (Law x Reader x Ace) Part 7

 Eyes fluttered open to see a unfamiliar ceiling although  familiar voices talked throughout the room.

"Law is not answering his phone,Sabo."

"Neither is (name). Something is going on here, it's strange."

Ace groaned as he heard his brothers talking, slowly sitting up he ran a hand through his black hair. 

"Hey, nice to have you back."

"Ace! What happened!"

Luffy exclaimed at his older brother while Sabo remained calm about this situation.

"Luffy, let's let Ace rest for a little longer. I mean the guy just woke up-"

"Where is (name)?! Where is she?!"

Ace began to shake his blonde headed brother with concern eyes as Sabo looked at Ace with startled eyes. Never before had he seen Ace concerned about a person before.

"Ace, I don't know. That's what we were going to ask you."

"Yeah, you were lying on the sidewalk. Luckily someone came to help you."

Luffy replied to his brother, as Ace looked around the hospital room looking for something.

"So she's not here?"

Luffy and Sabo look at each other then back at Ace.

"No."

Ace buried his face in his hands as he recalled the moments of what happened earlier.

"I..remember. Smoke"

"Smoke?"

Luffy and Sabo say in unison, curious about the situation.

"Yeah, we were talking about Law and such then out of no where smoke clouded my vision and I passed out."

"Well, she wasn't there. According to the reports."

Sabo replied back to Ace as he motioned his head to the TV. As the headlines were filled with news from Ace passing out on the streets to Law's disappearance.

"Figures. Do you think someone kidnapped her?"

"Likely."

Sabo replied plainly and calmly to his brother although he soon came to regret it as Ace eyes gleamed with sadness and worry.

Luffy frowned then grinned as he made a funny face to to cheer his brother up.

"Cheer up we'll find her."

"Right."

Ace said as he pushed his brother face out his as with a grin on his freckled face, then the door opened to see the red hair CEO.

"You're up Ace, good. You have a phone call."

Shanks then tosses Ace the cell-phone as he looked confused.

"Who is it?"

Shanks only shrugged his shoulders as he sat down in a chair, Ace sighed as he put the cell-phone to his ear.

"Hello?"

Soon Ace head laughter from the other side of the line, a creepy sadistic laugh.

"Who is it Ace?"

Luffy said trying to eavesdrop on the conversation.

"They keep-"

"Portgas D. Ace. I have something you want."

"Who is this-"

"Ace! Ace! Help me! I'm-"

"Ah, I told you I had something you would want. You and this Law here."

"You have them? Who is this?"

"You'll find out eventually...or maybe not. Why don't we play a game?"

"I'm not playing-"

"If you don't I kill the girl."

Ace's face turned pale white, shanks looked confused as he also tried to eavesdrop on the conversation.

"...what do you want?"

"For every hour you give me ten million dollars to keep the girl alive. If you don't or can't supply the ten million...well I guess you know the rest. Also, no help from the police. I'll give call again so you can put the money in a account. Once I get what I want, I will let her and Law go free."

"Why are you doing this? And neither of us have control over our finances, she does. How do you expect us to raise such money in a short amount of time."

"Well then, I hope you have money in your piggy bank. Or else. Time is ticking."

With that the call ended.

"What just happened?"

Shanks asked curiously as Sabo and Luffy nodded in agreement. Ace took a hard gulp as he explained the situation.

"Ten million?!"

"Every hour?!"

Shanks and Sabo exclaimed in shock as Ace nodded his headed thinking of ways to come up with the money until he could find (name).

"Well it wouldn't be a big deal if we had control over One Piece Company finances."

Shanks said rubbing the back of his head in frustration regretting letting (name) have control of all the finances.

"This is terrible. I hate to sound like a snob but I barely have half that from what (name) gave us earlier."

Sabo replied as Luffy sniffled pointing to his stomach.

"I spent most of mine on meat."

Everyone sighed  dropped at the innocent Luffy. 

"I only have fifty thousand to my name."

Ace said as he rubbed his forehead in frustration.

"Well, it's obvious us guys aren't good with money. Although I know two people who are good with money. You'll just have to pay them back."

"Who?!"

ASL said in unison.

Thirty minutes later a busty young woman with a slim body tone with orange hair and light brown eyes arrived in Ace's hospital room, giving all four men a huge knot on their head.

"You guys are idiots! How could you let this happen?!"

"Please calm down Nami."

Sabo said rubbing his head in agony as Rukia sighed at the sight.

"You could've at least let one more person have control over the money."

"I swear, I leave for another job. I come back and this happens."

Nami replied as she pinched Ace's ear.

"I know, I know. But it couldn't be helped. I fell unconscious."

Ace replied gaining his ear back as Shanks smiled.

"Yeah so, how about it? We only need five hours maybe less."

"Sure I suppose, I won't even charge you guys. You're lucky you have me and Rukia in your corner."

Suddenly a heavenly cloud appeared as Shanks, Sabo and Luffy prayed with tears in their eyes from joy.

"Thank you."

"I am human!"

Nami shouted at their joke.

"Shanks, in all seriousness. You say you only need five hours...how do you plan on finding (name), since you can't contact the police."

"Easy. With this."

Shanks pulled out a small tablet with location signal on it.

"What the heck is that?"

"Well, ya see. Entrusting (name) with all that money is quite dangerous, seeing as how she might leave with all that money and leave us broke. So I implanted a tracking device in her phone. So I know what she's doing at all times."

As shanks posed in a victory in stance as Luffy applauded the red haired CEO, although Ace wasn't too thrilled.

"...you've been stalking my girlfriend-"

Ace quickly covered his mouth and as his face turned bright red, as Sabo and Luffy laughed with laughter on the floor.

"Nice one Ace. I'll be sure to interview her later. I knew there was more to that song than just lyrics."

Rukia said as she punched him in the arm, although Ace didn't feel it as he was too embarrassed.

"Oh, so she' s special to you Ace?"

Nami said sarcastically as thought she could probably blackmail her friend, but then that wouldn't be necessary seeing as how Ace had a big heart and all you to do was ask.

"S-shut up. We need to get going. (Name) is in danger."

"True, save the teasing for later. For now you guys need to get going. Let me have the phone so when Doflamingo calls with the account I can transfer the money over."

With that Ace's team began their search for (name).

"...Law...Am I going to die?"

"...No. No you're not going to die."

All the while Law's eyes gleamed with anger as (name) was no longer in the same room as him, instead she was tied to a chair and her eyes blindfolded as dangerous electronic detonators surrounded her as Doflamingo made Law watch from a screen monitor with anger as to what might happen should Ace not come up with money.

Law could handle a lot of things, but this situation made his skin crawl with disgust as he could see and hear his love being so scared and freighted and there was nothing he could do to stop it.


Even though they couldn't hear it, Doflamingo watched the sight with a wide smile and finally laughed at the predicament Law and the others were in.
