There before (e/c) was the most adorable baby boy in the world, his tan skin glowed in the morning sun as he laid In his baby crib. Sucking his little thumb while a little drool formed at the mouth.
Wiping it away with a little grin on her face she wipes the drool away with her cloth that she had.
"Hey, wake up sleepy head."
Any normal mother would want their child to sleep, although this mother wanted to hold her baby boy.
Crazy yes, but she wanted see that smiling face of his so badly.
Then as if on cue the little baby opens his eyes to reveal a olive green color hue, with a smile on his face that the mother loved so much that made her giddy inside.
"You're up, I'm sorry mommy woke you up. I'm sorry. Forgive me."
She cooed as she grabs her tiny baby and kisses his little cheeks making him giggle with joy.
"Are ya hungry? I know you are. Let's go get you something to eat after we take care of you."
After taking care of her son making sure he was well kept, she proceeded to feed her baby some baby food. Although to her dismay he keeps throwing back up in disgust.
"I see you don't like it. Ok, ok."
Then trying the banana flavored baby food-cause no one could resist the delicious banana flavored baby food- she sticks the food in his tiny mouth although he does the same thing in spitting it back up.
"That's strange, what's wrong little one."
Putting her hand on his tiny forehead, she know knew the root of the problem.
"Oh dear, you've got a fever I see."
With that not another word was said as she rushes off to the hospital.
While waiting her little bertholdt cuddles up to her neck burning a fever while waiting for the doctor or nurse to call for them. Stroking his brown locks as though to ease his sickness.
"Ms.(l/n) the doctor will see you now."
The ginger haired nurse says as she motions (name) to follow her. With that she follows the nurse to a little room filled "get healthy" stuff.
"So the little guy has a fever, yes? Poor thing."
She says as she rubs his belly making him blush and cover his eyes behind his hands in shyness although you fake smile, you didn't like anyone touching your baby boy.
"Yes, he does. The little guy didn't even eat this morning."
Nodding the nurse introduces herself as Petra Ral and writes down notes as you went on about what happened this morning, then she checks his vitals and writes that down.
"Ok, the doctor will be with you shortly."
With that the young looking ginger head nurse leaves, all the while you play peek-a-boo with your baby boy putting a small smile on his face.
"Peek-a- boo."
The baby laughs as he waves his little arms up and down excited. Little Bertl loved the game so much.
All the while you didn't hear the doctor come in as you continued to play with your baby boy.
"Oi, I'm the doctor. What's going on?"
Looking behind, (name) sees a tired looking man with grey eyes and short black hair.
"Oh, sorry I didn't see you. It's my baby boy, he's got a fever."
The doctor grunts in approval and was getting ready to check some more vitals but Bertl jerks away crying.
"Tch, little brat."
"Hey, watch it. He's just not feeling well."
(Name) says trying to calm him down, although the doctor wasn't having it today. He checks Bertl's eyes causing him to cry even more, breaking your heart.
"There, there. Please stop. He just going to-"
"Oh god, you're one of those mothers that spoil their children."
The doctor says as he writes down something on his clipboard. (Name) smiles as she had finally calmed her baby down and kisses his cheek.
"So what if I do?"
"Tch, you shouldn't do that."
"Listen mr..."
(Name) read the name of the doctor that was inscribed on his badge.
"...Ackerman. I know how to raise my baby-"
Then Bertl reaches out for Dr. Ackerman's stethoscope with a smile. Dr. Ackerman then gives Bertl his stethoscope as he checked his vitals with ease now.
"From what my nurse told me, it sounds like to me he has cold."
Cough.
Cough.
You look to see Bertl coughing now making Dr. Ackerman nod in agreement.
"...disgusting. Yes, it's definitely a cold. I believe any over-the counter medicine should work. If not just back and I'll prescribe him something."
Relieved you smile kissed your baby cheeks making him blush and hide his eyes behind his hands again.
"Alright, I can do that. Thank you so much."
The doctor nods and flicks Bertl's nose making him cry again.
"Would you cut it out?"
"Tch, rotten brat. Are you a single mother?"
(Name) Nods her head "yes" while getting her bag.
"Yep, single mother. Single in general."
With a nod the doctor leaves and pretty soon so does (name).
After going to the front while holding (name)'s baby close to her, the nurse -Petra Ral- stops her.
"Ms. (L/n) please wait, this is from the doctor."
(Name) looks confused but nods as Petra hands a piece of paper over to (name), then she walks away while calling Bertl cute again.
Bertl sneezes and (name) takes it as her cue to leave this hospital, as she finally reached the car (name) strapped Bertl in his car seat, as he smiled playing with stuffed bear.
Making sure he was in place and safe and sound, (name) finally read the note that the doctor gave her. Although she found it rather odd as he said " (name) only needed over the counter medicine" and not a prescription.
"To (name),
Give me a call. That's it. Just do it."
Smiling to herself (name) kisses Bertl adorable baby cheeks again making him smile. (Name) would have to think about it.
after all she had man that needed her full attention 24/7.
